If you can't say something nice

If you want to see how not to respond to a rejection, see Adam Clay’s bog. He gives a link.

What is the worst thing you (dear readers) have said to an editor who rejected your work?

Sent off work today to Denver Quarterly, Pleiades, & Hotel Amerika. And if you think Fraz was a bit out of hand, check out what I said to Georgia Review on this blog. He's got nothing on me.

jim! so good to see all the action going on in your submission world. i can only imagine the inflection. i have to imagine the inflection. i guess. anyway, I received a wonderful email from the editor of Nathan Jr. He is excited that his publication is now transcending continents. Thanks for supporting local los angeles underdogs. We thank you.

I was laughing when I wrote it. It was only for this blog. Doubt GR will see it, but if they do… follow the link to the Franz stuff over at Poetry, bc that is me. Pulitzer in my back pocket, railing away.
