A yes from QLRS. They took a piece from After Meng Chiao. This makes me happy. Was worried that those pieces would not see the light of day until the time a book is published. Thank you Hsien Min & QLRS.

"until a book is published". exciting words. part of me sez -
back it up, homeboy. and the other half "good news. keep 'em coming".

its like an exercise routine, no? a real athleticism of submitting.

How hard is it to publish a book? Any joker can do the POD. Problem is writing a good one and getting it published where you want it published.

I used to submit a lot more. Now I am being more selective. I now know where I want to be. QLRS is interesting in that it is an online mag with a base in Singapore. Most of the talent, if you look on the site, is homegrown. Just seems like another community I’d like to meet.

Besides, Singapore interests me as a possible move in the future. Who knows? An English speaking country in Asia does intrigue. I need to learn more. (both about the State and the poetry coming out of it. My ignorance is immense)
