It was my pleasure to read the book and to write about it, about what I found inside it. And keep finding inside it.

Jim -
I've been beaten by a vegatable! A titled vegetable, to be sure... since your gracious complimentary copy of Whole Milk showed up on ym door I too have been meaning to write a review.
So where is it? Sometimes I think big when acting small is a sounder start (whole milk being case in point)- Jim, thanks for thinking of me, including me in the dedication (i'm glad i did SOMETHING) and working so hard on your craft. it was a real pleasure - and a rare one. It took me out of my day in a way nothing else in my life was doing, and it returned me in slightly better, fresher, funkier shape. Yet it was very inobtrusive (except for the same poem twice - like a skip on a new record, i got very conceptual and confused around this, but its 2006, so I can let that be - still, I would be intrigued what Goar conceptualism would look like). Knowing your work for several years now - I am inspired that you have grown and shifted as much as you have - and always towards life.

I look forward to further flowers sprouting from your umm...
