Seoul Bus Poems

I received a box of books the other day, so now it is official, Seoul Bus Poems is out in the world. These poems were written in Seoul, South Korea, 2004-07. While most began on a bus, one began in Bangkok and others in rooms between Yonsei University and Bongwon-sa. A good portion of these poems can be seen by clicking on the links to the right.

Of the publication, Ken Edwards of Reality Street had this to say:

Reality Street has published two new poetry titles by established and new US poets. Fanny Howe's Emergence is her first book for the press since O'Clock, published fifteen years ago. By contrast, Jim Goar's Seoul Bus Poems is his first ever perfect-bound book. Reality Street is pleased to be introducing this talented new poet. At this time, it's unlikely he will make the launch of these two books on 22 June at The Blue Bus, 94 Lamb's Conduit St, London WC1, but I'm glad to say Fanny Howe will be there, and will be reading alongside Tom Raworth - who may also read some of Jim's poems.
