Game One

One of the best things about living in Asia is not having to wait a whole day for this game. Wake up. An hour to go. Some coffee. Radio on. Have you read the New York Times today? Did you see this quote from Brian Wilson?

“I’d like to be a crossword clue one day,” he said. “I want to be in The New York Times’s Sunday edition. Right now, the clue ‘Giants great’ is always Mel Ott. I want my clue to be down, not across. The down ones are usually harder. And when I’m the clue, I’ll fill it in — just that one — and frame it.

“How sweet would that be?”

Ready for Atlanta

"That's the first time I've seen some absolute, unadulterated craziness out of the guy (Posey)," Wilson said. "I thought he was going to punch me, and I was totally accepting of it. I was finding a reason not to thank him for punching me, actually, if he did."

Every since Wilson was fined for having "too much awesome" on his feet, I have been a fan. The guy is a goof that comes up big. He is the most interesting man in the world. One more reason to like the guy, as reported by El Lefty Malo:
